ABOUT THIS PRODUCT, COLLECTION, & DESIGN

    The Birth of Venus

    (La Nascita di Venere)

    🌊 Subject & Meaning:
This world-famous painting by Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli depicts the mythological birth of Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty, who emerges from the sea on a large scallop shell.
Venus stands nude in the center, symbolizing divine and ideal beauty.
To her left, Zephyrus, the god of the west wind, embraces the nymph Chloris as they blow gentle breezes to guide Venus to the shore.
On her right, one of the Horae (goddesses of the seasons) awaits with a floral gown to cover her. Botticelli’s figures are elongated, graceful, and ethereal, representing spiritual rather than physical perfection.
The roses floating in the air symbolize love and beauty, which, according to myth, were created at Venus’s birth.

    🪶 Style & Technique:
This Botticelli painting is here professionally reproduced via sublimation printing on twenty-four 8"x8" square tiles with an elegant satin finish.
The entire framed dimension is 54" x 39".

Hanging Method: The picture frame comes pre-assembled with a 30-inch French Cleat hanger made of aluminum alloy Z clips, capable of securely supporting up to 200 lbs. All necessary hardware, such as screws, anchors, and more, is included. (See product images). Given the frame's weight, we recommend using some screws to a wall stud for maximum support.
