PLANTERS - CACHEPOTS & JARDINERES
At Artistica we feature a large assortment of completely hand made and free hand painted cachepots and planters.
You will know that our cachepots were made freehand, because in the inside you can feel the grooves left by the hand thrown process and in most of them you can slip you fingers under the rim as well, a clear indication that no molds were used.
All cachepots/planters are masterfully and painted in Deruta-Umbria and Tuscany.
Artistica's cachepots are made with clay from Umbria, the finest terracotta available in the world. All pots are fully glazed inside out and following simple procedure, these Italian terracotta pots can be left outdoors year-round full of soil even in frosting areas.
For outdoor use in frosting area, it is necessary that your pots have good drainage.
Although Artistica's cachepots are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, most are shipped without any drainage hole as they are made to be used as container to the plastic pots supplied with any plant.
Should you like to plant directly into the cachepot, we would gladly make the drainage hole on the product prior to shipping.
Remember that in winter time it is better to leave soil in the pots than to leave the pots empty.
