WROUGHT IRON TABLE BASE
The Aurora wrought iron table base is included with all tables.
Folds flat for convenient shipping and easy assembling.
Corrosion-resistant zinc coated steel treated with anti-corrosive hot bath of molten zinc at 842° F. Painted throughout the durable powder coated process.

At Artistica we proudly offer CeramicArte Deruta Italian engraved or bass-relief travertine tables, created from carefully selected slabs, refined from impurities.
The Romans mined deposits of travertine for building temples, aqueducts, monuments, bath complexes, and amphitheaters such as the Colosseum the largest building in the world constructed mostly of travertine!
Travertine is a natural stone product created inside of hot springs. The escaping water vapor from the cooling stone creates numerous holes, pits and channels within the stone that give it a naturally rustic look. Travertine tiles are perfect for outdoor use in many applications around the home and garden.

In fact the same benefits that make Travertine so perfect for outdoors, such as porosity, quick water absorption, and tumbled edges can, on the flip-side, make it easily destructible in harsh weather climates if the proper precautions are not taken in effect.

Dishwasher Safe
Artistica's tabletop and dinnerware ceramic products are made of the highest quality natural clay glazed and double fired at very high temperature. We recommended to space the items apart to avoid touching each other during the high pressure dish-washing.

Microwave and Conventional Oven Use
Artistica's dinnerware products are manufactured to be used as "Serving" pieces and not cookware, and therefore not suitable for conventional oven use. They can be used in Microwave oven for moderate reheating only.As the temperature of certain items may vary after microwave use, we recommend to carefully handle any piece.
Product Care for Dinnerware and Tabletop products.
The crazing effect - With repeated use, earthenware products have a tendency to "craze" (forming minuscule lines in the glazing). The crazing is the nature of earthenware, and has no significant effect on the ceramics and sometimes it is a much sought after effect.

Thermal Shock and cracking - Avoid sudden temperature changes - A thermal shock is the fracturing effect that occurs when ceramic objects are rapidly either heated or cooled and it may crack any earthenware plate.
The beauty of imperfection - Because each piece of Majolica and Ceramic is individually crafted, you will notice slight variations in color and size and occasionally you will note paint smudges, fingerprints and looseness of lids.
These variances should not be considered as imperfections, but as evidence of fine, hand-crafted work.

It is OUR responsibility to assure safe arrival of our products to final destination therefore rest assured that you will receive each product packaged with care protected in Bubble Wrap or shock-absorbing Polyethylene Foam bags sealed with our branded sticker.
Products are then packed in single or double wall cartons, depending the size of its content and further protected with with 100% recycled Kraft Paper or styrofoam peanuts when required.
Each tabletop and dinnerware product is cleaned prior to packaging although we recommend soap washing before first use.
