Fully Hand Painted in Deruta, Italy!
The 'Palio di Siena' is a tournament as a replica of a medieval horse race which is ran twice year, during the summer season, in the city of Siena, located in the beautiful Tuscany region. The race takes its name 'Palio' from the Italian word which means 'banner'. The richly decorated Palio Banner is the prize given to the winning 'Contrada' (District) of the race. Seventeen are the Palio's 'Contrada' that compete against each other twice a year in the months of July and August and each one has a distinctive Insignia.
Since 1990 we have been offering authenticated Palio products such as Wall Plates, Chargers, Dinner Plates and Coffee Mugs depicting all seventeen 'Contrada' insignias and now we proudly offer the very first stone tables and chairs available exclusively by Artistica Italian Gallery.
Each Palio's item is duly marked under glaze with the Palio di Siena Consortium logo as the official entity that authorizes and supervises production of Palio's related merchandise.

TABLE BASE IS INCLUDED IN ABOVE PRICE -All tables are shipped with the "GINEVRA" iron base with the exception of the 47"Ø large table that is instead shipped with the "SOFIA Deluxe" iron base.
All bases fold flat for convenient shipping and easy assembling. Tough weather proofed powder coat paint color black.

ABOUT OUR TABLES
Artistica Volcanic Lava Stone tables are manufactured in Deruta-Italy. Fully hand painted and, created from carefully selected slabs of Volcanic Lava thoroughly selected, refined from impurities and finishes throughout a double fired process.
The non-porous stone is both frost and heat resistant therefore ideal for indoor or outdoor use.  
The volcanic lava stone is an extremely tough material, much stronger than regular ceramic and rendering beautiful colors guaranteed not to wear down and guaranteed to last a lifetime: fade, frost and sun resistant.
The over 2,000 ° F. kiln firing, assure a perfectly sealed glazing, making the tabletop durable, 100% food safe and very easy to clean.

 INDOOR-OUTDOOR
All Artistic's ceramic tables are suitable for outdoor use, with Freeze Resistant guarantee for temperatures up to -22 ° F. (-30 ° C.). In very cold regions we recommend cover your table with a blanket and a plastic tarp to avoid direct contact of the ice or snow with the table or bench top.
Colors will NEVER fade under any sun or heat condition.

    Dishwasher Safe
    Artistica's tabletop and dinnerware ceramic products are made of the highest quality natural clay glazed and double fired at very high temperature. We recommended to space the items apart to avoid touching each other during the high pressure dish-washing.

    Microwave and Conventional Oven Use
     Artistica's dinnerware products are manufactured to be used as "Serving" pieces and not cookware, and therefore not suitable for conventional oven use. They can be used in Microwave oven for moderate reheating only.As the temperature of certain items may vary after microwave use, we recommend to carefully handle any piece.
  • Product Care for Dinnerware and Tabletop products.
    The crazing effect - With repeated use, earthenware products have a tendency to "craze" (forming minuscule lines in the glazing). The crazing is the nature of earthenware, and has no significant effect on the ceramics and sometimes it is a much sought after effect.

    Thermal Shock and cracking - Avoid sudden temperature changes - A thermal shock is the fracturing effect that occurs when ceramic objects are rapidly either heated or cooled and it may crack any earthenware plate.
  • The beauty of imperfection - Because each piece of Majolica and Ceramic is individually crafted, you will notice slight variations in color and size and occasionally you will note paint smudges, fingerprints and looseness of lids.
    These variances should not be considered as imperfections, but as evidence of fine, hand-crafted work.

  • Professional, clean and secure packaging!

    It is OUR responsibility to assure safe arrival of our products to final destination therefore rest assured that you will receive each product packaged with care protected in Bubble Wrap or shock-absorbing Polyethylene Foam bags sealed with our branded sticker.
    Products are then packed in single or double wall cartons, depending the size of its content and further protected with with 100% recycled Kraft Paper or styrofoam peanuts when required.
    Each tabletop and dinnerware product is cleaned prior to packaging although we recommend soap washing before first use.
