COLLECTION DESCRIPTION
DERUTA VARIO FONDO NERO: This beautiful collection showcases an intricate Deruta design that is unique to Artistica. The background color is a deep black while the design intricate hand-painted design features a subtle Olive Green, but what sets this design apart is the use of different shades to create a striking color gradient.
This technique of color shading is very challenging to achieve in hand-painted ceramics and requires years of experience.
The Foglie design features a foliated scroll-work motif that was originally used in the architectural decorations of the late Roman and Renaissance periods.
