Old fashioned kitchen accessories hand-painted in Deruta-Italy in a classic country design.
The canisters (sold as set of three) are fully usable, with rubber seals to help guarantee content preservation.
The canister set # 560 (Prod. # 608/19-GAL) are capped with a snug-fitting lid with rubber gasket that seals in freshness.

Wish your best to your loved ones with these “Galletto” Rooster pitchers.
This traditional Italian souvenir makes a functional gift that conveys prosperity and well-being. Available in five distinctive hand-painted patterns.
The “Master Rooster” (Item # A) has “Vino” (for wine of course) in hand-painted script, and holds up to one liter.
Each of the other four holds the amount of a standard wine bottle (.75 cl.).

The  “ROOSTER OF FORTUNE” MYTH:
Legend has it that Giuliano dei Medici (1516) was saved from an attempted assassination when he was awakened by the crowing of local roosters. Since then, the Rooster image has been used to convey good wishes for blessings,  prosperity and well-being.
