CASTELLO Collection Yellow Green, Red, Blue
Our Castello Collection brings you the rustic look and feel of the medieval era, with faithful replicas of Goblets and Coffee Cups like those used at banquets in ancient castles. Four colors available (Yellow, Green, Red and Blue). The yellow color features distressed rims and matching table top items, while the other three colors (shown in the page at right) are solid. No table top items are available in Green, Red and Blue.
The Castello Collection products are Dishwasher Safe and the only Artistica’s dinnerware suitable for use in microwave oven.
Please Note:

The glazing color tones of each item may differ from any other, therefore do not expect perfect color match. Paint smudges and glaze drips are intended characteristics of this unique product and should not be considered manufacturing defects.

POVERA Collection
The Povera (Poor) dinnerware, sticks to its name, with its simple cream color, purposely unfinished edges and crooked rims. Prior to final firing, the cream paint is removed from the slightly bent rims to achieve a rustic, yet sophisticated effect. A clear glaze remains to assure 100% impermeability and food safety.

About Ceramic Dinnerware

Not Safe for Microwave or Conventional Oven Use
Avoid High Temperatures: Due to its characteristic thickness and earthenware porosity, ceramic dinnerware may be damaged by exposure to extremely hot temperatures.
Our dinnerware products are “Serving” pieces and they are NOT meant to be used for cooking or re-heating.

Protect Against Chips and Cracks
Majolica is low-fired earthenware and chips more easily than china dinnerware.
Careful hand wash is recommended.
Electric dish-washing may be used and, if available, set your dishwasher to a "low-energy/cool-dry" cycle.
Always load your ceramic dinnerware far apart to avoid touching each other during the high pressure dish-washing, since such impact can easily chip the items.

Characteristics of Majolica and low fired Ceramics
With repeated use, Majolica has a tendency to "craze" (forming minuscule lines in the glazing). This crazing is the nature of Majolica, and has no significant effect on the ceramic item.
Because each Artistica’s piece is individually crafted, you may notice slight variations in color and size and occasionally, paint smudges, fingerprints and looseness of lids.
These variances should not be considered as imperfections, but as evidence of fine, hand-crafted work.

All our dinnerware collections are Dishwasher Safe as well as 100% Food Safe, and are regularly inspected and tested for compliance with FDA standards.
